Mrs. Martin, 85, of Phoenix, died October 5, 2005 at her home. She was born on Dec. 14, 1919 in Bend, OR to Richard and Esther Hunsley. She had lived nearly all her life in the Rogue Valley, the last 53 years in Phoenix. Survivors include her daughter, Virginia "Ginger" Kimball of Central Point; two sons, James Martin of Entiat, WA, and Charles Martin of Pukekohe, Auckland, New Zealand; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loring Martin; four sisters; and one brother. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Cancer Research, or to the hurricane victims.
