--> --> Foundation gives $50K to OIT Ashland Daily Tidings The Patricia D. and William B. Smullin Foundation has donated an additional $50,000 to support scholarships at the Oregon Institute of Technology. The contribution augments the OIT-endowed William B. Smullin Presidential Scholarship Fund. Earnings from the scholarship are designated for students in the following counties: Coos, Curry, Cook, Deschutes, Douglas, Klamath, Lake, Lane, Jackson, Josephine and Wallowa. To be eligible for the Smullin Scholarship, students must be high school graduates with a 2.5 GPA or better. For additional information regarding the foundation, contact David Disend at 885-1134.
