Video by Mark Curci For the Tidings The Daily Tidings sent its Man on the Street to ask locals the question: "What do you think of the legislative debate that could potentially put fluoride in Ashland's drinking water?" Video-reporting by Mark Curci, For the Tidings Current Comments: The only ones that will truly benefit from adulterating the cities water supply are the contractors that install and maintain the multi-million dollar project. Also the bottled water companies whose sales will skyrocket as people opposed to being force fed chemicals must now buy bottled water. Please do not confuse naturally occurring fluoride in spring water with the chemical version being injected in excessive amounts. I trust my child's pediatrician and she has prescribed my 10 month old daughter flouride because our driniking water is lacking in it. The amount of water I drink is so small in relationship to the water I use. Oh, yes - I use fluoride toothpaste. I see no reason for adding to the expense of buying water in Ashland. Someone might check with their officials and get some ideas - pro or con.
