Rogue Valley Symphony: The symphony, directed by maestro Martin Majkut, will turn on its French charm for its November series of concerts. Look for work by Hector Berlioz, Arthur Honegger and Camille Saint-Saens with piano soloist Tanya Gabrielian. Memberships will be available at the door. The sale will feature a large selection of like-new books in all genres plus CDs and DVDs. The silent auction features themed gift baskets with items and certificates donated by local businesses. The gift baskets will be on display for bidding in the library during the week prior to the sale. The auction ends at 2 p.m. Sunday. OHRA Sleep-Out Campaign: Options for Homeless Residents of Ashland will hold its Sleep-Out Campaign beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, on the field at the old Lincoln School, 320 Beach St., Ashland. Participants will spend one night outside in order to raise money for people who sleep out in the cold on a regular basis.
