ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 3:23 a.m. Saturday - Woman taken to protective custody due to alcohol intoxication after being found sleeping on the shoulder of Interstate 5 on the Southbound on-ramp at exit 14. 11:45 p.m. Friday - Unknown culprit kicked a large dent into fenders of two vehicles, 500 block Parkside Drive. 1 a.m. Friday - car door torn off, 300 block Cambridge Street. 1:30 a.m. Friday - Vehicle windows smashed on three vehicles, 300 and 400 blocks Helman Street.
