Gordon Smith Please use your influence and skills to prevent a foolish and dangerous all-out attack on Iraq and to return legislative focus to the domestic issues affecting U.S. citizens. We have been attacking Iraq for over 10 years killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people who fear Hussein at least as much as we do. A U.N. intervention would be a more effective and responsible approach. Attending to the problems and dangers already present in our own nation must become our more immediate priority.
