Sunnyside up The long-awaited arrival of sun to the Rogue Valley Monday brought out the window washers for Ashland's tallest landmark. Two people took two days to wash the hundreds of windows up and down the length of the Lithia Springs Hotel. "We've been waiting for the rain to stop," said Jay Tyler of Daly's Window Cleaning Company of Jacksonville. To do the job, Tyler and owner Brian Daly (pictured here) sit on a small boatswain chair and dangle from the hotel roof using little more than a bucket and squeegee for cleaning. Temperatures reached into the upper 70s Tuesday in Ashland, providing residents with the warmest day in the the Rogue Valley since October, the National Weather Service said. Continued sunny conditions are expected, with highs hitting the mid-70s today and dipping only slightly into the upper-60s Thursday.
