Jackson County Fire District 5 Deputy Chief Vince Lockett said the fire in the 800 block of Reiten Drive destroyed both structures, each about 10 feet by 20 feet, by the time crews had extinguished the flames. About $15,000 in damage to the structures and their contents was estimated, Lockett said. No one was injured. The fire was reported at 8:04 p.m. A crew of six firefighters, two engines and a water tender arrived on scene to see the woodshed engulfed in flames. Fire also had spread to the nearby plastic greenhouse and was melting it. Lockett said firefighters extinguished the flames in about five minutes, but that the damage was already done.  Fire officials said an investigation showed a man who lives in the house on the property had been showing his son how to start a campfire using flint near the shed prior to the fire.
