Subject was gone by the time police arrived. 1:52 p.m. Sunday - A car failed to stop for a vehicle violation on Fordyce Street. The pursuit was terminated by the officer once the vehicle entered downtown. The car was discarded with the engine running a short time latter on Golden Spike Way. 5:55 p.m. Saturday - An Ashland man, 64, was arrested for shoplifting $11.08 worth of items from the Ashland Community Food Store on N. First Street. 3:05 p.m. Saturday - Report of a subject stealing $75 worth of merchandise from the Goodwill on Tolman Creek Road. 2:58 p.m. Saturday - Unknown party drove away without paying for $15 worth of gasoline at the Oil Stop on Lithia Way.
