Ashland Police and Fire 2 a.m. Monday - Transient male, 30, arrested for trespassing, disorderly conduct and theft of sheets, 1100 block Beswick Way. Subject lodged in Jackson County Jail after refusing to comply to lawful orders. 11:49 p.m. Sunday - Ashland male, 28, pulled over for traffic violations at East Main Street and Walker Avenue found to be driving while suspended. Vehicle impounded. 9:32 p.m. Sunday - Male, 22, arrested at Quincy and Garfield streets for vandalism to a vehicle which occurred about 15 minutes prior at Iowa and Avery streets. Subject resisted arrest, lodged in Jackson County Jail. Damage to vehicle: $700. 2:25 a.m. Sunday - Ashland female, 23, arrested for DUII, corner of East Main and Emerick streets. Passenger, Ashland male, 23, arrested for littering and the throwing away of lighted material. A third passenger was transported to Detox due to debilitating intoxication. 12:55 a.m. Sunday - Corvallis male, 22, pulled over for running a red light, 1200 block Siskiyou Boulevard. Subject showed signs of intoxication and controlled substance use. After consenting to tests, subject was cited for DUII/marijuana, and released to a sober adult. 12:44 a.m. Sunday - Ashland male, 20, and Ashland female, 18, cited and released for minor in possession by consumption, Clay Street and Takelma Way. 9:03 p.m. Saturday - Dumpster fire, 1300 block Quincy Street. Source unknown, Ashland Fire and Rescue responded and extinguished fire. 7:34 p.m. Saturday - Intoxicated male determined to be unable to care for self and transported to Detox, 2500 block Highway 66. 3:14 p.m. Saturday - Male, 19, cited for skateboarding without a helmet at skatepark, 200 block Water Street. 2:14 p.m. Saturday - Report of assault in parking lot of business, 2300 block Ashland Street. Subjects fled before police arrived. 12:30 p.m. Saturday - Personal property recovered from railroad property near Railroad Park. Blue backpack, black duffel bag, sleeping bag, mat, clothing and $5 cash tagged and stored. 11:43 a.m. Saturday - Medford male, 24, pulled over for traffic violations, Ashland and Normal streets. Subject showed signs of impairment, arrested for DUII/controlled substance, and released to a sober adult. 11:30 a.m. Saturday - Ashland female reported the transient father of her children, 24, physically assaulted her, and stole her housekey and cash, 90 block Emerick Street. Subject also yelled outside woman's residence, causing neighbors to be alarmed. Value of key and cash: $21.50. 9:31 a.m. Saturday - Ashland male, 45, lodged in Jackson County Jail after violating a no contact order. Subject resisted arrest and kicked at officer. 1:45 p.m. Friday - Ashland female reported the transient father of her children, 24, physically assaulted her. Subject reportedly slammed door of residence on woman's arm, the woman's 7-month-old child was present during the assault.
