--> --> Bryan leads Grizz third straight win Ashland Daily Tidings MERLIN - Senior forward Clint Bryan scored 20 points and led three Grizzlies who scored at least 16, as the Ashland boys basketball team continued its early season surge with a 69-35 win over Class 3A North Valley on Wednesday. Senior wing Bryan Clevenger added 17 points and sophomore post Chris Mackojak had 16, as the Grizzlies improved to 3-0 heading into their second home game of the season, Friday against Marshfield. The Knights (0-5) got a game-high 22 points out of Darren Clark. The Grizzlies, who have scored 61 points or more in every game so far, blew the game open by running off 29 in the second quarter to take an insurmountable 41-8 lead into halftime. Ashland's next three games are at home. After Marshfield (7 p.m. tipoff), the Grizzlies will take on Summit (Saturday, 2:30 p.m.) and Yreka (Tuesday, 7 p.m.). After that, the Grizzlies will have just one more home game before their Jan. 7 Southern Oregon Conference opener, at home against Klamath Union. Email your...
