Oregon State Police said Michele Roux-Mantoan, 34, of Carmichael, Calif. , was cited and released on charges of second-degree assault, two counts of third-degree assault and driving while under the influence of intoxicants. Two children in the car, age 10 and 5, were transported to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The 5-year-old was later transported to Oregon Health & Science University. A 1-year-old, who was "properly secured in a rear-facing child seat," did not suffer any serious injuries, according to an OSP news release.  Roux-Mantoan injured her left hand.  The medical condition of the hospitalized children was not available Monday, and the identities of the children have not been released.  Police said the crash was reported at 6:44 p.m. Saturday near milepost 16, between the two Ashland exits. Roux-Mantoan was driving north when she lost control of the vehicle, a 2004 Honda CRV, police said. The vehicle rolled several times, crossed the center median and landed on its wheels in the interstate's southbound fast lane , OSP said .  OSP said alcohol is being investigated as the cause. Police are looking for witnesses who saw the vehicle prior to the crash or the crash itself. The CRV was blue with California license plate 6KFX971.
