Doric String Quartet: Chamber Music Concerts presents the UK-based Doric String Quartet at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 8 and 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9, Southern Oregon University Music Recital Hall, Ashland. T he Doric String Quartet’s Friday performance will feature Haydn’s String Quartet in B Minor, Op. 64 no. 2; Korngold’s String Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 26; and Beethoven’s String Quartet in A Minor, Op. 132. Saturday’s program includes Haydn’s String Quartet in G Major, Op. 64 no. 4; Janacek’s String Quartet no. 1 “Kreutzer Sonata;” and Schubert’s String Quartet in G Major, D. 887.
