Photo by Spencer Bertelsen for the Oregon Fringe Festival This year’s renewal of the Oregon Fringe Festival, developed in 2014 by Southern Oregon University students, started Sunday and continues through Friday at various venues, mostly at SOU. According to its website, www.oregonfringefestival.org, Fringe provides a platform for young artists to produce both new, inventive works and is a conduit for creative passions of those who value the traditions that make their art great in the first place.
