Ashland won its first three games at the tournament to earn date with Medford in the undefeated game. There, Ashland built a 3-1 lead through five innings before the eventual champs came back for a 5-3 victory. That dropped Ashland into the loser's bracket, where they lost a high-scoring, back-and-forth battle with Umpqua Valley, 12-11. Ashland led 6-0, but Umpqua took a 7-6 lead in the third inning and scored five runs in the fourth to take control. Ashland out-hit Umpqua 9-8, but show itself in the foot by walking seven Umpqua batters. Jordan Decker (five hits), Louis Sebrell (five), Jay Barton (five), Casey Skolnik (five) and Garrett Tygerson (five) led Ashland at the plate, while Charlie Sebrell led the team on the mound. Charlie Sebrell pitched three games at the tourney, going 2-1. Ashland was managed by Alan Decker and coached by Dave Tygerson and Dave Sebrell.
