Ashland Police and Fire 11:30 p.m. Monday - Transient male, 31, cited and released for shoplifting at grocery store, 2300 block Ashland Street. 9:30 p.m. Monday - Black Labrador-mix dog transported from 200 block Garfield Street to Jackson County Animal Control. 8:52 p.m. Monday - Ashland male, 21, cited and released for trespass after resident of apartment complex reported him for riding a red motorized scooter on the property behind the apartments, 500 block Clay Street. 7:01 p.m. Monday - Adult female arrested for disorderly conduct and placed on mental health hold at Rogue Valley Medical Center after she tried to enter a vehicle without consent of owner and beat on front door of residence screaming, 300 block Garfield Street. 3:38 p.m. Monday - Female, 26, and male, 22, each cited for failing to comply with leash law, front lawn of Lithia Park. 12:30 p.m. Monday - Ashland male, 52, arrested on two Josephine county warrants, Highway 66 near Tolman Creek Road. Subject cited and released, as Jackson County Jail was full. 8:40 a.m. Monday - Ashland male, 33, arrested on outstanding Washington County warrant for hit and run. Subject lodged in Jackson County Jail. 8 a.m. Monday - Business reported graffiti spray painted on exterior side wall. Cost to clean up "Stop cutting old growth!" from wall estimated at $50. Monday, time unknown - Unknown person or persons broke window of the Old Ashland Armory, 200 block Oak Street. Cost to replace window estimated at $500. Talent Police Department Monday night, time unknown - White Ford Contour, 2000 model, stolen from outside owner's residence, 200 block Joy Drive. Under investigation. Phoenix Police Department 7:50 a.m. Tuesday - Improvised explosive device detonated on front lawn of residence leaving remains of a plastic pop bottle on front lawn, 400 block Oak Street. Under investigation.
