The first TV event is this Saturday's Raider-Warner Pacific men's and women's Cascade Conference basketball doubleheader, which begins at 5:30 p.m. at McNeal Pavilion on the SOU campus. On Charter, the games will be aired live on channel 31 in Jackson county and on channel 15 in Josephine county with replays slated for channels 9 and 14, respectively, at 10 a.m. on Sundays. Ashland Fiber Network customers can watch the events on channel 95. The broadcasts serve as practical experience for 17 SOU students currently enrolled in video production and sports announcing courses. The student-run effort is supervised at RVTV by producer Pete Belcastro, engineer Randy Staley and director Michael Ainsworth.
