--> --> Judge: Woman can never own pets MEDFORD - A Rogue River woman whose 300 rabbits were seized after she was accused of neglect can never again own animals, a Jackson County judge said. "I have absolutely no doubt that this woman should never have animals," Judge Rebecca Orf said after watching a video taken of Diane Scott's home. Scott pleaded no contest to animal neglect. The plea has the same legal effect as a guilty plea. Orf sentenced Scott to five years' probation, 80 hours of community service and restitution for the rabbits' care. The amount has not yet been determined. Orf also was ordered to turn over her remaining pets - five cats and assorted poultry. Email your...
