Ashland Police and Fire 11 p.m. Tuesday - Domestic assault reported, 2000 block Takelma Way, under investigation. 8 p.m. Tuesday - Juvenile female reported being assaulted by juvenile male, on bike path near Hunter Park. 6:30 p.m. Tuesday - Snacks stolen from Southern Oregon University dormitory vending machine, 1400 block Madrone Street. Between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Tuesday - Unknown person or persons broke into vehicle parked in Ashland Plaza parking area and stole miscellaneous items valued at $600. Damage to vehicle valued at $100. 4:37 p.m. Tuesday - Transient male, 22, charged with violating leash ordinance after being warned and failing to comply, East Main and Pioneer streets. 2:08 p.m. Tuesday - SOU security reported theft of two computer RAM components from dormitory while it was locked overnight. Value of components: $83. 12:57 p.m. Tuesday - White City male, 20, cited and released for riding a bicycle on the trail in Lithia Park. 11 a.m. Tuesday - Illegally parked vehicle which was blocking a second vehicle towed, Avery and Lee streets. 10:30 a.m. Tuesday - Report of husband violating no-contact order made at Ashland Police Department. 8:01 a.m. Tuesday - Unknown person took $200 from cash register of business and escaped on foot, 2400 block Highway 66. Between 9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday - Unknown person or persons broke into vehicle, 200 block Wimer Street and stole miscellaneous items valued at $510. Between Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday - Unknown person or persons spray painted " Democracy not Aristocracy" on side of building, 700 block Normal Avenue. Clean-up cost: $100. 10:30 a.m. Monday - Known person stole locked bicycle, 2300 block Ashland Street. Blue Trek bicycle with rear shocks valued at $500.
