Tutunov Piano Series This series of concerts named after Alexander Tutunov — professor of piano and artist in residence at Southern Oregon University — will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, with a solo performance by German pianist Andreas Klein in the SOU Music Recital Hall, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. Klein will perform a collection of dances by Johann Sebastian Bach titled "Partita," written in 1726, Ludwig van Beethoven's "Sonata (Pathetique)," and Frederic Chopin's "Ballade," along with music by Claude Debussy, Franz Liszt and Guiseppe Verde. Tickets are $20 for reserved seats and can be purchased online at oca.sou.edu or by calling 541-552-6348. Tickets are free to full-time students. Hallo-Wine at Belle Fiore Winery Trick-or-treat like a grown-up with a dinner and wine from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Belle Fiore, 100 Belle Fiore Lane, Ashland. Three-course meal seatings will be at 5:30, 6 and 6:30 p.m. Rock band L.E.F.T. — singer, songwriter and guitarist Bret Levick, Dobro player Bob Evoniuk, bass player Greg Frederick, drummer Matt Terreri and keyboard player Don Harriss — will perform at 6:30 p.m. Costumes are encouraged but not required. 'Radium Girls' Based on a true story, D.W. Gregory's fast-paced play takes audiences to 1926, when radium is a miracle cure, Madame Curie is an international celebrity, and luminous watch faces are the latest rage. Until the girls who paint those watch dials begin to die. An examination of the commercialization of science and the American obsessions with pursuit of health and wealth makes this drama relevant and entertaining. The show previews at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in Ashland High School's Mountain Avenue Theatre, 201 S. Mountain Ave. Preview tickets are $7. Shows are set for 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, Nov. 5-7 and 12-14, and 2 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 8 and 15.
