Ashland Police and Fire 3:37 a.m. Friday - Ashland male, 36, arrested, cited and released, on charges of DUII, Hillview Drive and Peachy Road. 1:32 a.m. Friday - Vehicle found fully engulfed in flames, Ray Lane and Ashland Street. Extinguished by Ashland Fire and Rescue. Under investigation. 1:11 a.m. Friday - Ashland male, 23, stopped for traffic violations admitted he had been smoking marijuana and consented to search of vehicle, East Main and Second streets. Subject cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. 8:05 p.m. Thursday - Underage male attempted to buy beer with someone else's identification, 2400 block Ashland Street. Clerk denied purchase. 4:45 p.m. Thursday - Trashcan fire discovered in alley behind business, 1700 block Ashland Street. 2:19 p.m. Thursday - Medford female, 36, cited and released after shoplifting $119.93 worth of electronic equipment from business, 2200 block Ashland Street. 12:49 p.m. Thursday - Ashland male, 27, picked up on Ashland Municipal Court warrants, 10 block Crocker Street. Subject lodged in Jackson County Jail.
