WILDLIFE 'Deer Summit' will be televised Public meeting set for Wednesday Comment DailyTidings.com Writer Posted Sep. 21, 2015 at 12:01 AM Posted Sep. 21, 2015 at 12:01 AM » Social News A public meeting to discuss deer in Ashland is set for 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, in the City Council Chambers at 1175 East Main St. Mayor John Stromberg and city Councilor Carol Voisin will be present. The mayor, according to a release from the city, is interested in hearing from the audience about incidents of aggressive deer behavior and suggestions on what the city can do to mitigate angry deer occurrences, as well as whatever concerns people have for animal welfare. The meeting will be broadcast on Rogue Valley Community Television (Channel 9 in Ashland) and can be viewed on Channel 180 for Charter cable customers. For more information, call 541-488-6002.
