--> --> Boulevard design goes on display Ashland Daily Tidings Ashland residents are invited to view the latest plans for the Siskiyou Boulevard redesign 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the Arena of Stevenson Union at SOU. The city is taking over jurisdiction of Siskiyou from the State of Oregon. The redesign is intended to increase safety and accessibility for pedestrians, bicyclists and vehicles while retaining the boulevard's historic nature. Construction costs are estimated at about $2.1 million and work should begin in the spring. The City Council will preview the design in an open study session 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ashland Civic Center Council Chambers, 1175 E. Main St. Call 488-5587 for more information.
