Oregon State Police Operation Targets Portland Drug Dealers in Coordinated Sweep Crime & Courts By Diane Megaw On Jun 17, 2025 Seized illegal drugs | Oregon State Police Photo Five people were arrested on Friday evening as Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers collaborating with local law enforcement agencies undertook a targeted mission in downtown Portland aimed at disrupting illegal drug activity.   OSP Illegal Drug Disruption Mission Nets 5 Dealers During the three-hour operation, OSP’s Drug Enforcement Section and Mobile Response Teams with the Clackamas County Interagency Task Force (CCITF) and Linn County Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (LINE) focused on street-level dealers in Portland’s Old Town neighborhood during their mission on Friday. Police seized 60.3 grams of methamphetamine, 11.7 grams of fentanyl, 25 grams of Xanax pills, and a privately made firearm (aka a ghost gun). They made five arrests on charges related to distributing and possessing controlled substances and firearms-related offenses. All 5 people arrested were charged with Distribution of a controlled substance, including 60-year-old Michael Yarborough and 51-year-old Lawrence White. 54-year-old Lawrence Serban is also charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of fentanyl. Aside from Distribution of a controlled substance, 50-year-old Willie Waller is charged with possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a Schedule II substance, while 24-year-old Candrew Post has additional charges of felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm.
