ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 11:09 p.m. Thursday - DUII controlled substance, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, Ashland Street and Clover Lane, Ashland man, 35, cited and released to a sober adult. Thursday - Medford man reported some protesters struck the hood of his car while they were blocking traffic during a demonstration, Lithia Way and Pioneer Street, $100 damage. 4:30 p.m. Wednesday - Mountain bike valued at $250 taken, Pioneer Street and Siskiyou Boulevard. JACKSON COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT NO. 5 11:56 a.m. Thursday - Vehicle accident, Interstate 5 milepost 19, Ashland man drove his vehicle through traffic cones into a hole left by section of removed pavement, blew out all four tires and caused extensive damage to the wheels, no injuries.
