The driver was found to have a suspended license. The license was confiscated and the driver cited. 3:25 p.m. Sunday - Texas man, 27, was arrested at Rare Earth on N. Main Street for stealing $4.50 worth of incense. 10:30 a.m. Sunday - A 1986 Honda motorcycle valued at $1,000 was stolen from N. Main Street. 8 a.m. Sunday - Unknown subjects entered the Faith Tabernacle Church on Faith Avenue, damaging several doors and stealing $10 in change. 2:42 a.m. Sunday - California man, 44, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Siskiyou Boulevard at Garfield Street. 2:05 a.m. Sunday - Ashland man, 18, cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption on E. Main Street at Pioneer Street. 9:24 p.m. Saturday - Two visibly intoxicated men attempted to purchase beer from the Safeway on Siskiyou Boulevard. When they were refused, one of the men started cursing at employees. As they left the store, one of the men kicked a wall and knocked down a greeting card stand. 2:41 p.m. Saturday - An unsecured and unattended Mazda car rolled down the street on Lithia Way at Water Street. The car struck a street sign and another vehicle. No injures were reported. Damage to the Mazda was estimated at more than $1,000, while there was $750 damage to the other vehicle and $150 damage to the street sign. The owner of the Mazda, a Medford woman, 26, was cited for failure to secure her vehicle and for criminal mischief. Ashland Police and Fire 6:28 a.m. Sunday - A 1995 Ford Explorer was reported stolen on Betty Jo Way. Talent Police 2:37 p.m. Sunday - Jackson County Fire District No. 5 and the Ashland Fire Department responded to a grass fire in the 1900 block of Ashland Mine Road.
