Ashland Police and Fire 10:54 p.m. Sunday - Transient male, 31, caught by store security stealing a case of beer, 500 block Siskiyou Boulevard. Subject cited and released. 7:11 p.m. Sunday - Male black Labrador dog transported from 400 block Prim Street to Jackson County Animal Control. 6:16 p.m. Sunday - Ashland male, 22, cited and released for stealing a bottle of wine, 500 block Siskiyou Boulevard. 7:17 a.m. Sunday - Male subject wanted for burglary and assault observed by officer in market, 300 block N. Main Street. Subject resisted arrest and fled on foot. 7 a.m. Sunday - Transient male cited for camping in Lithia Park after repeated warnings. 4:52 a.m. Sunday - Las Vegas male, 58, arrested for DUII after failing to maintain lane, E. Main and Fordyce streets. Subject cited and released. 2:39 a.m. Sunday - Ashland female, 22, arrested for DUII following a traffic stop, Clay Street and Siskiyou Boulevard. Subject cited and released. 12:05 a.m. Sunday - Upon investigation of a disturbance in a parking lot, 100 block Garfield Street, a female and a male subject distracted the officer while a third subject, male, rushed the officer and struck him in the throat. Assailant fled on foot. Other male, 22, of Medford arrested on multiple warrants and lodged in Jackson County Jail. 10:10 p.m. Saturday - Ashland female, 20, and Ashland male, 30, cited for providing alcohol to minors after officer responded to a noise complaint, 700 block Elkader Street. 8:21 p.m. Saturday - Consensual search allowed at apartment, 100 block Lincoln Street, when officer attempted to serve a warrant. Illegal substances found and seized; to be destroyed. 5 p.m. Saturday - Girls' detention facility, 800 block Siskiyou Boulevard, reported a runaway. Subject found in Medford with the assistance of the Medford Police Department. Between Friday and Saturday, time unknown - Unknown person or persons broke window in alley behind private club. Cost to replace window glass estimated at $20. Talent Police Department 11:49 p.m. Saturday - Vehicle window broken, 200 block Gibson Street. 4:28 p.m. Saturday - Theft of carpet at construction site on Talent Avenue reported. Value of carpet estimated at $600.
