Ashland Police & Fire 3:28 a.m. Monday - Hawaii man, 33, cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, 2500 block Highway 66. 12:05 a.m. Monday - Upon investigating a noise complaint, 600 block Normal Avenue, officer noticed two marijuana pipes on table of residence. Subject admitted to owning both pipes and was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. 1 p.m. Sunday - Black male Labrador transported from 10 block Pioneer Street to Jackson County Animal Shelter. 12:02 a.m. Sunday - Sunny Valley male, 30, pulled over for traffic violations, Highway 99 and Jackson Road, showed signs of intoxication, consented to tests and was arrested for DUII. Subject cited and released to a sober adult. 11:51 p.m. Saturday - Ashland male, 34, pulled over for traffic violations, Highway 99 and Jackson Road, arrested for DUII. Subject cited and released to a sober adult. 9:23 p.m.. Saturday - Ashland female, 46, pulled over for traffic violations, Hersey and Lynn streets, showed signs of intoxication, consented to tests, and was arrested for DUII. Subject cited and released to a sober adult. Between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday - Unknown person or persons entered vehicle by gaining access through open window and stole cell phone and wallet, valued at $120. 1:13 p.m. Saturday - Gas attendant, Ashland male, 22, stole credit card from customer after fueling up his vehicle, 2500 block Ashland Street. Suspect attempted to use credit card at a Medford business. Suspect located, arrested, and lodged in Jackson County Jail. Credit card valued at $15. Between 6 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday - Chairs, tables, trashcans, benches, and a beer bottle thrown into Daniel Meyer Pool by unknown person or persons. Cost of clean-up and lost revenue: $100. Damage to resin chair: $5. Jackson County Fire District No. 5 3:49 a.m. Monday - Semi-truck trailer fire, milepost 23 of Interstate 5, stopped freeway traffic briefly.
