Ashland senior Michaela Dunn, an honorable mention, was the only other Grizzly to be recognized during annual awards banquet. Crater senior Courtney Setzer was voted the MWL player of the year and Crater's David Heard and Springfield's Bill Wagner were named co-coaches of the year. The league's coaches voted in seven MWL first-team selections and five second-team picks. Ten more received honorable mention status. Williams, who committed to NCAA Division I Columbia University in November, led the Grizzlies in scoring, was one of the league's top play-makers and also supplied suffocating defense. The versatile Dunn finished as Ashland's second-leading scorer. The other players to be voted to the MWL first team were Springfield juniors Emma Klym and Hannah Eddens, Crater junior Destiny Fahndrich, Eagle Point senior Sydney May and Marist senior Karson Silver.
