MONDAY February 23, 2004 - Subscribe - Contact Us - Rate Card Valley&State Backpage O&E Sports Archives Classifieds Faith&Beliefs Obituaries Revels December 20, 2003 Suzanne Langley Suzanne Langley, beloved mother and grandmother, died Thursday, December 11, 2003 at her residence in Ashland, surrounded by loved ones. She was 74 years old. Born Suzanne Isabelle Healy on July 3, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York to George Healy and Isabelle Calhoun Healy, Sue received her undergraduate degree at Trinity College and her masters degree in education at Columbia University. While attending Trinity, she was introduced to her future husband, George Langley, by her soon to be sister-in-law, Mary Jane. They were married in 1954, and raised their family together in Syracuse, New York and Santa Clara County, California. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother, Robert Healy; she is survived by her sister, Joan Healy Calame, and her four daughters: Deborah Langley and Carol Langley of Medford; Joan Langley and her family, Peter, Michael, Jack and Christopher Buckley of Ashland; and Janet Langley of San Diego. A funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 16 at 2 p.m., and a graveside service will be offered at the Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, California on Thursday, December 18 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Sue's name to ARC of Jackson County.
