Just after 2 a.m. April 15, a man walking in the roadway was struck by a motor vehicle that left the scene before police arrived. The suspect vehicle is a 1995 to 1999 Toyota Tacoma pickup. The vehicle should be missing a side mirror and windshield wiper. Anyone with information about the suspect vehicle and/or driver should contact APD Sgt. Bob Smith at 482-5211. Ashland Police and Fire Wednesday 12:34 a.m. — Man under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms found lost on Weller Lane. He was taken home to Wightman Street; no citations were issued. Tuesday 5:44 a.m. — APD assisted Ashland Fire and Rescue and Oregon State Police with an assault victim, Interstate 5 at milepost 11. The woman died later and the homicide is under investigation. Tuesday 2:15 a.m. — Ashland man, 21, arrested for felony domestic assault, 00 block of Morton Street.
