--> --> In support of RCC bond measure I am an instructor at RCC, so admittedly my comments may seem self-serving. In fact, RCC does reimburse me; as a teacher with very high academic and ethical standards, I am duty bound and professionally required by RCC to exert my best efforts in the interests of its citizen students. These high demands of me are no imposition but instead paradoxically, reinforce and validate my own expectations of my students. Only by setting possible if admittedly challenging goals for my students can I, in turn, give them full value for their input, both intellectual and monetary, and for their priceless personal time. The least of their payoffs are associate degrees; what the outside world does not see is the day-by-day metamorphosis of minds.
