The Strawberry Lane LID is a case in point. You got citizen input. You got almost unanimous objection to every phase of the project from the neighborhood involved, and denied every objection. The latest idea of putting a sidewalk on a deadend hill with a 30-degree slope containing five houses on grounds that it might change 15 years from now is an outstanding example of mind over logic.
