--> --> Development is not a method of conservation I have read about the drought we are experiencing in the Rogue Valley, the early fire danger and all the new development, such as the 250 new homes being constructed at Mountain Meadows in Ashland. Am I being simplistic to wonder if this is irresponsible? If we are in the middle of a major drought period with increasing fire hazards, how will we have enough water for all these new homes? Have our city officials come up with a water plan for the future? Those low-flow shower heads the city is providing won't solve the problem. Sarah Paul Ashland Email your...
