Schneider, 90, passed away Nov. 7, 2003, at Madrone Hospice. Hazel was born in North Dakota, Feb. 21, 1913, and was one of two sets of twins in a family of eight daughters. She moved to California in the early 30s and married Emil "Doc" Schneider. In the 50s Hazel and Doc moved to Yreka, Calif., and owned and operated Doc's Lock, Clock and Key Shop for several years. Hazel later moved to Medford, where she continued her work as a locksmith and assisted her son in his business until June of this year. Survivors include her immediate family, daughter Suzanne Liddick and spouse David; son Steven "Doc" Schneider; her grandson and special friend Matthew "Matt" Liddick, and his family; her twin sister Harriet; her youngest sister, Adeline "Billie;" and numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel was known by many, both professionally and personally, and loved by all who knew her. She asked that she be remembered as someone who loved the Lord and tried to walk in his path. At her request she will be interred at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford alongside other members of her family and services will be private. In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made to Madrone Hospice, 255 Collier Circle, Yreka, CA 96097, or a charity of your choice. Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements. Ovid Mar Lisonbee Ovid Mar Lisonbee, 87, of Ashland, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003 at home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Ashland.
