Valley View Road, Ashland. The event is open to Ashland residents only, so participants should bring a driver's license or other form of identification that shows full name and address. Green debris, including leaves, pine needles, small branches and brush, will be accepted. Trash, stumps, logs, firewood and treated lumber will not. All collected debris will be composted. Plastic bags must be emptied on site and taken home. The event is sponsored by Ashland Fire & Rescue, the Ashland Wildfire Mitigation Commission, Recology Ashland and the National Fire Protection Association, to help remove fuel for potential wildfires from Ashland yards before the beginning of fire season.
