Methampheta-mine and drug paraphernalia were found in the car. The man was arrested and taken to the Jackson County Jail in Medford. 8:59 p.m. Thursday - Two juveniles fled the Safeway on Siskiyou Boulevard with eight cases of beer valued at $130.51. Noon Thursday - A vehicle backed into a lamp post on Lithia Way at First Street. 11:36 a.m. Thursday - An iBook laptop was recovered from the bottom of a portable toilet on Gresham Street. Thursday - Police arrested a male transient, 38, on two counts of second-degree trespassing, unlawful use of a vehicle and second-degree mischief. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
