Les Wexner
Document text
Being named is not a finding of wrongdoing. This page documents that a person was named — by Rep. Massie or in the sources cited below — not that any allegation against them has been proven. Several people in this collection deny wrongdoing, have not been charged with a crime, or (per available reporting) have no documented connection at all. Read the citations, not just the headline.
Les Wexner
Named by Rep. Thomas Massie among 14 people in an Aug. 31, 2026 House floor speech on Jeffrey Epstein — see Massie's 14. Naming is not a charge; see that page for what the speech does and doesn't establish.
What's documented
Les Wexner, the L Brands (Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch) founder, was Jeffrey Epstein's largest and most important financial client for roughly two decades, from 1987 until 2007. Wexner granted Epstein a sweeping power of attorney in 1991 covering investments, business deals, and property, and made him a trustee of the Wexner Foundation (Vanity Fair; The Independent). Reporting puts Epstein's earnings from managing Wexner's fortune at roughly $200 million over that period, and Wexner's attorneys told investigators in 2008 that Epstein had separately misappropriated funds and repaid a portion of it (The Independent). Wexner severed ties with Epstein in 2007, before Epstein's 2008 conviction, and has said he had no knowledge of Epstein's crimes; he was deposed by the House Oversight Committee and denied such knowledge under questioning (CNN). Wexner has been described in reporting as a person the FBI listed among unindicted individuals of interest in connection with the Epstein investigation, though he has not been charged with any crime (NBC News).
[VERIFY: the precise total of Epstein's earnings from Wexner — cited figures range from $200
million to $400 million across the sources gathered for this entry — and the exact terms of the
FBI's "unindicted co-conspirator" characterization.]
