Daniel Siad
Document text
Being named is not a finding of wrongdoing. This page documents that a person was named — by Rep. Massie or in the sources cited below — not that any allegation against them has been proven. Several people in this collection deny wrongdoing, have not been charged with a crime, or (per available reporting) have no documented connection at all. Read the citations, not just the headline.
Daniel Siad
Named by Rep. Thomas Massie among 14 people in an Aug. 31, 2026 House floor speech on Jeffrey Epstein — see Massie's 14. Naming is not a charge; see that page for what the speech does and doesn't establish.
What's documented
Daniel Siad, a French modeling scout, was found dead at his home near Paris in 2026, three months after French prosecutors opened a criminal investigation into his alleged role recruiting young women for Jeffrey Epstein under the guise of modeling opportunities. According to the Mirror and IBTimes UK, at least five women had accused Siad of rape and human trafficking, which he denied, maintaining his contact with Epstein was "purely professional"; his lawyer attributed his death to a heart attack, citing prolonged stress from the investigation (Mirror; IBTimes UK; Daily Record). No formal charges had been filed against Siad before his death.
The sourcing on Siad is contested: the same reporting cluster states his name appears
extensively in the DOJ's declassified Epstein files, while a Wikipedia summary of Epstein's page
reviewed for this entry does not mention Siad at all. [VERIFY: the precise number of times
Siad's name appears in DOJ records — reported as "nearly 2,000" by outlets in this cluster —
has not been independently confirmed against the primary files for this entry, and the
Wikipedia discrepancy is noted rather than resolved.]
