Lapo Elkann, an Italian businessman and member of the Agnelli family (Fiat/Stellantis), was named by Rep. Massie on Aug. 31, 2026 as one of the 14 people he said should be investigated over Epstein. A research pass across Wikipedia's Epstein-related pages, reporting on the unsealed Epstein court documents, and coverage of the DOJ's 2026 file releases found no primary-source documentation — court filing, flight log, deposition, or DOJ record — connecting Elkann to Epstein (What Ghislaine Maxwell really knows and why she will never tell — The Independent).
