- For, my husband, a veteran of World War 1, never did-recover his badly injure
health as a result of the terrible ordeal we suffered from the "gov'rr.int" from 1950-54. This
left him in a weakened state . He was already 66, had a heart condition from his Service;

reader that Taylor Caldwell had decided not to publish
