girls were killed.
Eugene Thomas and two others have
been indicted on Federal Civil Rights charges
in connection with the murder of Viola
Liuzzo between Selma and Montgomery,
Mme
dynamite used in the bombing of the Crowell
residence in Birmingham on 4/ 1/ 65 and the
unexploded bombs found 3/ 21-22 and 4/ 1/ 65.
GBEENBOMBS is the code word for the
bombing on 4/U 65 and unexploded bombs.

From an evaluation of the evidence received thusfar in this
investigation, the chance of successful prosecution in State or Federal
Court is very remote In view of this, the Bureau disapproves at this
time of the conferences you recommended with U S Attorney and
Solicitor for the 10th Judicial Circuit in Alabama.
