Laboratory, Identification Division, Latent Fingerprint
10 Section, is the original threatening letter received by
Enclosed herewith for the Violent Crimes Unit,
12 Criminal Investigative Division, is a copy of the threatening
letter received by Congressman MUR&#39;I&#39;I-IA s office on 4/22/91.
The Identification Division is requested to process
original letter to determine if latent fingerprints can be
15 developed. Thereafter photograph said prints and hold for
future cgmparison purposes. Original document, and analysis
17 should bé~ returned to the Pittsburgh Division. ,r

On 4/22/91, above victim received at his office in
Johnstown, Pennsylvania  PA!, a threatening letter. In the
letter, the writer thereof tells Congressman MURTHA that they
have been following him for the past couple of weeks listening
to his propaganda. Further the writer advises that they are
experts in ambush areas, and they know where MURTHA travels,
eats and lives. If one more of our comrades  being American
soldiers in the Persian Gulf! comes home in a body bag, they
willlud MURTHA responsible. Further, his penalty will be
death.
