occurred during the summer of 1930 which indicated EINSTEIN

purposes other than his own. At that time, EINSTEINIs private
secretary had planned to go on a three or four week vacation
. and had been instructed to notify the Soviet courier in advance of the data of her departure so that arrangements could be made to
' intercept the Comintern cables before they were given to EINSTEIN.M The private secretary left without informing the courier and no
_ attempt was made by the courier to_contact EINSTEIN personally.

Secretary oi the CHO, sponsor of the Washington Conclave, informed
the Worker that e special report on the case of the 12 indicted GP
leaders would be delivered at the Legislative Conference on l/17/£9.
The article further stated that among those sponsoring the CGnfEieLG9
