Accounting and bookkeeping firms submitted video entries in an attempt to describe how their current business practices are leveraging technology to change the way they do business. Polymath, a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, is one of only four firms selected that are located on the West Coast, and the only firm from Oregon. Ingrid Edstrom started Polymath LLC in 2008 in order to provide bookkeeping services to local business owners, giving them more time to focus on turning their visions into success stories. Northridge Center opens new wing The Rogue Valley’s first state licensed senior assisted facility, Northridge Center, is opening a new wing to handle a new adult day service program. The day service program is open to elderly or disabled adults from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Transportation is provided up to 10 miles. A ceremony marking the opening is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Northridge Center, 3737 S. Pacific Hwy., Medford. For more information, telephone 541-535-5497. Caldera leads local breweries in volume Ashland's Caldera Brewing Co. is No. 18 on Oregon's volume sales list, following the July update released this week. Caldera sold 736.4 taxable barrels in July, pushing its 2015 total to 4,026.08, according to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission. Southern Oregon Brewing Co. of Medford was No. 51 after selling 140.4 barrels, giving it a total of 871.5 for the year. Wild River Brewing & Pizza sold 153 barrels to reach No. 55, with 800.30 barrels sold overall. Medford's Walkabout Brewing Co. was No. 65, Standing Stone Brewing Co. of Ashland was No. 111, Opposition Brewing Co. of Medford was No. 144, and Rusty Bucket Brewing of Medford was No. 173.
