Roseburg squad sweeps North Jackson ROSEBURG - Ryan Garrett had a big night at the plate for the North Jackson Royals in an American Legion A doubleheader loss to Roseburg Coke Tuesday. Roseburg defeated the Royals 8-5 and 4-3 at Legion Field. Garrett smacked three extra-base hits and accounted for five of North Jackson's 16 hits in the twinbill. In the opener, Garrett provided a double and a triple that produced two RBIs. Brandon Willer and Mark Farrell added two hits each for the Royals. Grant Goodell went 2-for-3 with two RBIs to spark Roseburg in Game 1.Garrett went 3-for-4 with a RBI during the Royals' one-run second-game loss. "I was happy we put ourselves in a position to win but I was disappointed we booted the ball around in the first game," North Jackson coach Rob Cowden said.
