A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report of a theft of miscellaneous items, including a chainsaw, from BioMass One. The items reported stolen had a total estimated value of $4,000. Theft — 100 block of Sunwood Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft of speakers and a subwoofer from a vehicle, which also got a damaged window. The total value of items reported stolen and the damage was $620. Fire calls House fire — 366 Mill Hill Road, Rogue River. Rogue River Fire District got a call at 12:30 p.m. of a house fire about 2 miles out of Rogue River, off Rogue River Highway. Crews arrived at the fire at 12:32 to find a house blazing and power lines arcing in the driveway. The house, which belongs to Richard Phillips and his wife, was about half destroyed. No one was home at the time of the fire, and a cause of the fire hasn’t been determined yet.
