Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Advertisement Email Story to a Friend April 27, 2006 How to sign up for program Pre-registration and parent permission are required for Kids and Bugs: Chicos Latinos, a Saturday field trip to Bear Creek Park targeting Latino youth ages 9 and over. Participants already have been registering through their schools. Others can register between 7:30-7:55 a.m. Saturday at the Santo Community Center, 721 N. Columbus Ave., Medford. Following registration, breakfast will be served to participants at 8 a.m. at the center, then buses will ferry the kids to Bear Creek Park beginning about 8:30 a.m. Parents should plan on picking up their kids at the Santo Center between 2:30 and 3 p.m. For more information in English or Spanish, call Alex Steiner at 776-7371, Ext. 216. The program is sponsored by the Bear Creek Watershed Education Partners, the OSU Extension Service, Southern Oregon Education Service District, and the Bear Creek Watershed Council.
