Had darkness not overtaken Howe Field, North Medford and Beaverton might still be at it, they surely had enough fight left in them. The North Medford Black Tornado came to Eugene for one reason Monday and that was to apply the finishing touches to another banner season. Put the final piece into place that escaped last year when the Tornado fell 3-0 to Hood River Valley in the Class 4A state final.
