Emergency services, Sept. 10 By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Sep 09, 2022 03:10 PM A A Felony arrests Theft — Dominic Agapito Earl Fletes, 21, of the 1600 block of Whitman Avenue, Medford. Fletes made a Thursday appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a new felony charge of first-degree theft. Medford police and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies originally arrested Fletes July 4 on a charge of mail theft, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of attempted unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for violating his probation on prior mail theft, identity theft, first-degree forgery and first-degree theft convictions. Fletes additionally was charged in court Aug. 25 with new felony counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle and a new misdemeanor count of driving while suspended or revoked. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail. Burglary — Sadie Ann McWhinney, 45, no known address. Medford police arrested McWhinney Thursday on a charge of second-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Thursday and was no longer an inmate as of Friday. Strangulation — Christopher Wes Moore, 39, no known address. Central Point police arrested Moore Thursday on a warrant charging him with a felony count of strangulation constituting domestic violence, a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault and for violating his probation on prior methamphetamine possession, hydrocodone possession and heroin possession convictions. He was held in jail Friday without bail.
